IELTS Arena is built to simplify the management of IELTS learning activities for both students and tutors. The application allows users to:
- Book IELTS lessons with tutors.
- Manage and track upcoming learning sessions.
- Synchronize lesson schedules with Google Calendar.
- Automatically generate Google Meet links for online lessons.
- Receive reminders and updates about scheduled lessons.
To provide these features, IELTS Arena integrates with selected Google Workspace services.
Why We Request Google Permissions
IELTS Arena requests access only to the minimum Google user data required to provide the application's core functionality.
Google Calendar
Google Calendar access is used only to:
- Create calendar events for booked IELTS lessons.
- Update lesson schedules when changes occur.
- Delete lesson events if a lesson is cancelled.
- Help users avoid scheduling conflicts.
The application does not access or use unrelated calendar information beyond what is necessary for lesson scheduling.
Google Meet
Google Meet access is used only to:
- Automatically generate secure Google Meet conference links for online IELTS lessons.
- Associate the generated meeting link with the corresponding lesson.
Google Meet data is used exclusively for online class management.
Google User Data Usage
IELTS Arena is committed to protecting user privacy. Google user data is used only to provide the requested application features.
- Google Calendar data is used solely for lesson scheduling and synchronization.
- Google Meet data is used solely to generate meeting links for booked lessons.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not share Google user data with third parties except when required to provide the requested service or comply with applicable law.
- We only request the minimum OAuth scopes required for the application's functionality.
Data Retention
IELTS Arena stores only the information necessary to manage scheduled IELTS lessons. Google Calendar events and Google Meet links are retained only for lesson management purposes and are removed or updated when they are no longer required.
